Hello everyone,

I started receiving an "invalid configuration" message when trying to change any configuration settings under the the settings, networking, ethernet settings.  When attempting to make any change I receive an "invalid configuration" error.

I can change any other setting on the printers except those under the ethernet settings sub-menu.

I have installed the latest firmware (cljM577_fs5.6.0.2_fw_2506649_040445) on the two printers without any luck.

Any help would be so very much appreciated.  I am not trying anything right now with the 3rd printer since it is the only one still connected to the internet and I am afraid I will mess it up. :-(.

I am a home enthusiast and retired from IT so I will try and use the proper IT language but may need so patience and coaching :-).

Thanks,

Don

There is a troubleshooting document for your printers here

https://www.laserexpressinc.com/manuals/HP/hp-clj-ent-m552-m553-m577-troubleshooting-manual.pdf

Try printing the network configuration page from the problem printer and compare it to the one shown  in the above document or compare it to the still working printers config page.

Are the problem printers on line?   If so, there should be help links in the web based setup.

If any of the printers are in warranty you can always contact HP support.

l have no experience with this enterprise printer but possibly the expert  @Valsimot might know better
