Hello, @vrcsmith42Eeer - Greetings!

Thank you for becoming an HP Forum member. It is a great location to get help from the community, get suggestions and find what has worked for others!

The Maximum recommended memory card size is up to 1 GB on your Officejet printer. SDXC generally starts from 64GB. Hence this may not be supported on your machine.

These are the supported memory cards for your Officejet printer:

  • CompactFlash (Type I and II)

  • Memory Stick, Memory Stick Duo, Memory Stick Pro, MagicGate Memory Stick Duo

       NOTE:

Memory Stick Duo requires an adapter, which must be purchased separately. Not using an adapter might damage the device.

  • Memory Stick Micro (requires adapter, sold separately)

  • Secure Digital

  • High-Capacity Secure Digital

  • miniSD, microSD (requires adapter, sold separately)

  • MultiMediaCard (MMC), Secure MultiMediaCard

  • Reduced-Size MultiMediaCard (RS-MMC), MMC Mobile, MMCmicro (requires adapter, sold separately)

You can check the detailed specifications here: http://hp.care/2tHm32T check under "Memory Device Specifications".

Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance!

Cheers 🙂
