Keep getting error code 0x6100004.

HP Recommended
Officejet pro 6960
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP Officejet Pro 6960 Printer goes into maintenance mode and says paper jam but there's no paper jam.

Tells me to shut down and start again but just keeps coming up with the same error code. 0x6100004

I understand you are not able to print due to this false error.

 

Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document - A 'Paper Jam' Error Displays

Make sure the print carriage is moving freely. 

 

For more info on resolving 0x errors, refer to - '0xc19a0005' or Similar Error Code Displays

 

If the error persists, I'm afraid this is a hardware failure. Please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service options for your printer. 

You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.
