Product: iMAC with HP Laser Jet P3015
Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

I recently purchased the HP Laser Jet P3015 and set up Tray 2 with letter and Tray 3 with legal. I need to configure printing so that the laser jet knows when to pull/print on the letter and legal size all in one job automatically. Thank you!

If you have the trays on the printer set to the correct sizes, then it is your software that will determine whether the job prints on the appropriate paper. You just need to make sure that when you print the job you tell the driver to select paper based on the print job.

I don't know how to tell the driver to select paper based on the print job. I don't see that selection/option from my iMAC.

I am looking to print home loan documents. The document is sent in one file with a mixture of letter and legal size documents.
