Help! I'm printing labels on my new Office Jet Pro 8020 printer. They are sort of okay at the top - but totally off at the bottom. The spacing is off. I never had this issue with my previous HP Office All in One 6700.
I've tried aligning, I've tried making changes to my document, but nothing is helping. It really seems like somehow the labels being printed on are somehow off, but I have no idea how to fix. I tried moving the paper guides in the tray as well and that made no difference.

Hi @AnneCos ,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand the frustration you're experiencing with the label alignment issue on your HP OfficeJet Pro 8028e printer. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the problem:
Check Paper Size and Type: Make sure that the paper size and type settings in both your printer settings and document settings match the actual size and type of the label sheets you are using.
Load Labels Correctly: Ensure that you are loading the label sheets into the paper tray correctly. Make sure the guides are snug against the edges of the label sheets to prevent any misalignment.
Calibrate or Align Printer: Your printer might have a calibration or alignment feature that helps correct any misalignment issues. Refer to your printer's user manual to find instructions on how to perform this calibration.
Update Printer Drivers: Make sure you have the latest printer drivers installed on your computer. Sometimes, updating drivers can resolve compatibility issues and improve printing performance.
Use Printer Software: Open the HP printer software on your computer and check for any additional settings related to label printing. Some printers have specific settings for label paper that can help with alignment.
Adjust Margins in Document: If possible, adjust the margins in your document to ensure that the content is well within the printable area. This can sometimes help with alignment issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
