Hello,
After not using for about 30 days, I go to print and green light flashing, "HP" blinkning in display. App says Unavailable, and wifi will not connect/recognize device. It seems that the printer is not responding to anything when I unplug it, restart, etc. continues to blink.
I removed the printer from my app, but nothing changes.
Any tips? how do I totally reboot?

Hi @KEQPrint,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
When your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M29w printer is offline and unresponsive, there are several troubleshooting steps you can follow to try and resolve the issue. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you get your printer back online.
Check Hardware Connections:
- Ensure that all cables, including the power and USB (if applicable), are securely connected to the printer.
Restart Your Printer:
- Turn off your printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait for about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
- Plug the printer back in and turn it on. Allow it to fully initialize.
Check Wireless Connection:
- On the printer's control panel, navigate to the wireless settings and make sure it's connected to your Wi-Fi network. If not, try to reconnect it.
Check Wi-Fi Network:
- Ensure that your Wi-Fi network is working correctly and that there are no issues with your internet connection.
Restart Your Router:
- Sometimes, the router may have issues. Try restarting your Wi-Fi router or modem.
Update Printer Firmware:
- Visit the HP support website and check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer model. If there are updates, download and install them.
Reinstall Printer Software:
- If you have the printer software installed on your computer, try uninstalling it and then reinstalling it. Make sure you download the latest software from the HP website.
Factory Reset (Last Resort):
- If none of the above steps work, you may need to perform a factory reset on your printer. This should be done as a last resort because it will erase all your printer settings. Instructions for performing a factory reset should be available in your printer's manual or on the HP website.
Remember to check the user manual for your specific printer model for more detailed instructions on performing these steps. Additionally, you can also use the HP Smart app to troubleshoot and manage your printer, but since you mentioned it's not recognizing the device, it's important to address the offline issue first.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
