Help please. I cannot get my HP LaserJet Pro MFP M29w to print, scan or anything. My computer states that the printer is offline. I have tried everything: uninstalling, reinstalling, USB, wireless, wired, firmware update. I have no idea what to do next. Maybe this printer just isn't compatible with Win 11? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Hello @Jamie115 ,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Here's what you need to do:
- Uninstall HP printer software, and then remove the printer from your Devices list.
All HP printer software must be uninstalled! - Restart the PC
- Close all programs
- download only this complete package: HP LaserJet Pro MFP M28/M29/M30/M31w Printer Full Software Solution

Release date: Mar 14, 2022
File name: Full_Webpack-46.5.2645-LJM28-M31_UWL_Full_Webpack.exe (144.8 MB) - Close all programs
- Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo > in folder Downloads double-click on the Full_Webpack-46.5.2645-LJM28-M31_UWL_Full_Webpack.exe,
- The installation was completed successfully, now you must ...
- Restart the System again
- Now the installation is complete.
Document error messages accurately, even better is to take a screenshot of it and upload here.

The printer is connected with a USB cable as instructed. I've tried several USB ports. Each time it successfully connects. However, as you can see in the screenshot below, the Next button is greyed out and unusable. If I choose My device is already connected to the network, Easy Start cannot find it.

wrong installation
@Jamie115 wrote:... but Easy Start ...
you need to disable the WiFi function and disconnect the USB cable.
Repeat the uninstallation and connect the printer with USB only when the software asks for the connection type!

Wrong installation? I followed the instructions to the letter, and at the very end it prompts you to open easy start.
I'll give it another shot tomorrow. It sure wasn't this difficult with Windows 10 at my previous residence.
Thank you.

Thank you again.
I did the entire process again, but skipped the Easy Start install at the end. After the restart, my PC recognized the Laser Jet pro MFP M29w as a scanner only (Control Panel>Devices and Printers). It was also not appearing as an option for printing .doc, .pdf files, for example. However, by going into Printers and Scanners in Settings, clicking Add Printer, then Show WiFi Direct Printers, I was able to add the printer and set it as the Default. I opened a .pdf document and the printer is now appearing. I successfully printed the page.
Thank you for your help. Very much appreciated.
