Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP

Printer working like a top and all of a sudden it quit. As usual can’t find disk that came with printer to reload driver. Can’t find generic driver for xp . Any help. It prints fine with win 10. The printer is on either net switch, and know its IP address. Any hints. My wife blames me so I need help.

If you are network connected then your best course action is to install the printer manually  on a Standard TCP/IP port and then use a Laserjet 4250 or 4000 driver. The 506 was never marketed as supporting XP so no there likely is not model specific drivers available.
