Hi there, I followed all instructions (by unplugging the MFP while holding 30 secs Power Button and leaving unplugged device for 3 mins), and restoring its status to factory defaults from Service Menu but alas, it keeps `Initializing…` ever, I don't know how to fix it!

Hi @fenki,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I'd like to help!

I understand the printer screen is stuck initializing screen.

We can perform a factory defaults on the printer to resolve the issue

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
  • I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

4. Turn off the device
5. Press and hold the Copy + Cancel (X) button, keep the button depressed as you turn the product on
