Microsoft Windows 11

My laser jet printer HP 426 FDW prints multiple pages every time I turned my laptop on, so much so that it ate almost half my paper one time. how do I stop this additional printing from occurring. The additional pages are mostly blank but for the same 4 lines at the top of each page that reads:

Content length 184

Content Type: application/ ipp

Host: localhost

Based on the content of the error message I would guess that Windows has installed it's own driver and that it is faulty. I would try deleting your printer and reinstalling. Before deleting I would suggest that you purge your Windows print spooler by following the directions here: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/how-to-clear-printer-queue-in-windows-10/7e5ac...

Directions are the same for Windows 10 and 11.

After deleting the existing driver, download the current installation from support.hp.com

I was able to delete the spooler, delete the printer, install the new driver and it is still printing junk pages. Any other suggestions?
