HP Recommended

I can no longer print from my mac to my laserjet 550.  It only gets "paused" status.  Mac is operating in Sonoma.  I have cleared all printers, re-installed print drivers, restarted printer.  It won't print either via the network or if connected directly by USB.  I have tried printing from InDesign or pdf and same issue.  There is not an issue with printing from the same computer to HP 2035, 3500 or other printers we have.  The computer recognizes the printer when setting it up with "bonjour" install - so I know there is a connection between printer and computer.
