HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP 3301sdw

My original black toner started to get low,  I ordered all new color and black.  Before changing them, the prints suddenly began to have too much blue in them.  I changed out to all new HP toner color and black cartridges.  Still getting too much blue hue in the prints.  I use high quality laserjet paper and it is HP original toner.

@Coolshade, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

It seems like you're experiencing an unusual issue with your HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP 3301sdw printer, even after changing the toner cartridges. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the problem:

Calibrate the Printer:

  • Printers usually have an option to calibrate or align the cartridges. This process can help balance the colors. Check your printer's menu and look for calibration options. You might find this under "Settings" or "Tools."

Check Print Settings:

  • Ensure that the print settings match the paper type you are using. Sometimes incorrect settings can alter color outputs. Go to the printer settings on your computer and double-check if it's set correctly for high-quality laserjet paper.

Check Media Type:

  • Verify the media type setting in the printer preferences. The wrong media type setting can cause color distortion. Make sure it is set to the type of paper you are using.

Inspect Cartridges:

  • Even though you’re using new cartridges, please ensure they are seated correctly. Improper installation can result in printing issues.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Outdated firmware might cause various printing issues. Visit HP's support page to check for any available updates for your printer model.

Color Profiles:

  • Check if your computer's color profiles match your printer's profiles. This can affect how colors are printed. Adjust settings through your computer’s printer management application.

Printer Reset:

  • Perform a hard reset of your printer. Unplug it, wait for a minute, plug it back, and restart. This can often resolve temporary glitches.

Clean the Printer:

  • Perform a nozzle check or cleaning. If there is any dried ink or dust inside, it could be causing the problem.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
