Left side cut off when printing from file

I just bought this printer this week and set it up. When I print from a file, the left side of text is cut off. I have adjusted the scale, the slider and the printer settings and still get the left side cut off.

 I'd like to help!

To better assist you - 

1) Does the copy print out the same way? 

2) What's the application you are trying to print from? Have you tried printing from a different application or devices? 

3)What device are you using the printer with, a Windows computer, Mac, Android or an iPhone?

4)What is the size and type of paper you are using?
