I am unable to connect a wireless HP Officejet Pro 8610 printer to my Lenovo Ideapad 100-151BD notebook. The wireless printer works fine with my other 2 HP notebooks. I have done complete "deep" removals of all software per other instructions on this forum. I also have used 2 different versions of the HP Scan & Print Doctor. Each time I run the Doctor it finds the 8610 but says the software is not installed. So it downloads it but the printer is still not found after the software is installed. The printer software was installed with the virus software turned off and the latest Windows 10 updates are installed. Printer power was cycled numerous times. I am also able to successfully ping the printer from the Lenovo notebook Thanks for the help in advance.

@PaysonMtMan, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
If the printer is connected to other computers, it means the printer is working fine.
If you are able to ping the printer and get a 0% loss, it means the connection is fine.
- Make sure the printer and the PC are connected to the same wireless network.
- This printer supports only 2.4GHz network. So, the PC should be on the 2.4GHz network.
- If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both the networks.
- Print a wireless test page from the printer setup > tools, to check the wireless details and confirm.
