Like many other people, I have lost the username and password for the Embedded Web Server (EWS) for my DeskJet 3755. Everything on the EWS is currently locked and requires being logged in to change (this includes Restore Factory Defaults and Restore Network Settings).
I have tried restoring network settings (by holding the wireless button and the cancel button), but this has done nothing to unlock the Embedded Web Server. There is no "admin" username with a blank password. I have also tried other combinations including "ADMIN" and "BLANK", "admin" and "blank" and from what I understand - all interpretations of that phrase.
When I try to use the easy start to set up a connection it asks me for my username and password and thus isn't a useful way forward.
How can I reset the username and password for the EWS?
Thanks

Welcome to HP forums, I see that you are unable to login to printer EWS page.
You have tried all the step to reset network defaults.

Hi @Bwilt17
Please try these steps to restore the network settings to defaults - Press the Wireless button and the Cancel button from the printer control panel at the same time, and then hold them for three seconds.
Let me know.

I've already tried that multiple times. I also know about the "remove web services" thing, but I can't log in to remove it without the admin password. I can't use HP Smart to connect to the internet either because it keeps asking for the admin password, which I don't know. I really just want to factory reset the printer somehow, so I can start over from scratch. Thanks.
