Ever since I bought my HP 8620 All-In-One (AIO) Inkjet, I have had trouble with the paper slipping while printing or copying or anything. I use HP paper. Earlier, someone told me to change the paper setting to HP Premium Presentation, Matte. That has helped some, especially when printing with sheets of labels. However, I still get a lot of slipping. It either slips one or two entire pieces of paper in the middle of a job; or it starts printing/copying the top inch on a piece of paper then skips to a second piece of paper to finish the rest of the page.
I tried cleaning all the rollers with 50% alcohol, but that has not helped.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Does anyone know what is best to clean the rollers with?

Welcome to HP support community.
Calibrate the linefeed
-
On the printer control panel, swipe the display to scroll to Setup, and then touch the Setup icon (
). The Setup menu displays.
-
Swipe the display to scroll to Tools, and then touch Tools.
-
Touch Calibrate Linefeed.
-
After the printer prints a test page, touch OK, and then recycle or discard the test page.
-
Print another Print Quality Diagnostic Page to see if the issue is resolved.

I recalibrated the HP AIO 8620, but got the message it didn't calibrate it. I then aligned the printheads and ran all the tests and reports. I didn't clean the printhead because I knew my ink is getting low. I printed the "Print Quality Diagnostic Page." It came out fine. Not long after that in one print job, the printer slipped the first page onto 2 pages, skipped a couple of sheets, and only printed one line on the next sheet. Then it straightened up. I used to love HP, but they sure don't make them like they used to. I think it is a problem with the rollers or something. Although I cleaned them once a long time ago, and it didn't help. I take very good care of my paper. I just wish it would stop.

Appreciate you trying the steps. This looks like a hardware issue. I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
Have a great day!
