Product: HP LaserJet Pro M404n
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Just hooked up this printer and when it prints there is a loud alarm that continuously sounds during the printing session.  I have it hard wired to my desktop computer.  Any ideas?

Most of the time when I see this type of issue it is because the user has plugged the power cord of the printer into a UPS (uninterruptible power supply) and it is causing a voltage drop. The printer must be plugged directly into the wall. If the electrical circuit is near capacity it could trigger this issue even if the UPS and printer are on the same circuit but the printer is not plugged directly into the UPS.
