Hi,

my printer shows in both lines in the display "No String in R0". After ca. 5 s the display turns blank and after another 5 s "No Strings in R0" is shown again.

I can't connect via USB or ethernet.

I have tried to reset to factory settings ("Cancel" + "Copy" Button + Turn On), however this has no effect.

The error occures since I have tired to install it as a network printer. I guess some firmware update went wrong.

Do you have an idea how to fix it?

Cheers,

Jim

@JimPanse, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I understand you are not able to use the printer due to this error. Let us perform an NVRAM reset on the printer to resolve this issue.

I have sent you a private message with a set of instructions to perform a reset. Kindly check the same, this might help you to resolve this issue. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

@JimPanse

That's unfortunate. Please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service/replacement options for your printer.

You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.

Keep me posted for any other assistance.
