HP LaserJet M209dwe Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

The issue is that the printer stays with a blinking orange light and does not respond.

When I turn on the printer, the rollers make a sound, and the green light turns on, fluctuating in intensity. After ~10 seconds, the paper icon, the information indicator, the down arrow, and the "X" light up. Immediately, the green light changes to orange for an instant, then returns to green, fluctuating in intensity. At ~20 seconds, a clicking sound can be heard (similar to a thermal component reaching its operating temperature—a faint sound like something turning off). At 1 minute and 10 seconds, the green light changes to orange, blinking on and off. At this point, even if I press and hold the information button, it doesn’t respond.

During the first minute of startup, pressing the information button causes the other panel lights to turn on, but the printer remains unresponsive. I also attempted to reset the printer by pressing the Wi-Fi and "X" buttons simultaneously, but it did not reset (the light never changes to violet as indicated in the documentation).

I have confirmed that there is no paper jam, and I tried using a new toner cartridge, but the issue persists. The printer also does not emit a Wi-Fi signal to connect to. The only way to connect it to the PC is via USB, and it is detected during the startup process. However, once the orange light starts blinking, I can no longer access its properties through HP Smart or any other software.

Thanks for the reply, but I can't update the firmware because from the PC I only have access to the printer via USB for a short time (until the light starts flashing), so the firmware stays in the print queue but the printer never installs it.....
