HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M283fdw

Hi.

I've owned this printer for around 9 months, from new, during which time it's had fairly low to average usage. I moved from a Samsung colour laser to this as I wanted improved quality and full duplex printing and scanning (fax is an unused bonus).

Until recently, the printer has behaved impeccably but is now exhibiting white spots down the middle of every page printed. I've checked the 4 toners and don't see any damage but have noticed what look to be "dimples", down the middle of what I presume is the transfer belt. These dimples would appear to be consistent with the white spots on the page.

As the printer is still under warranty, is this something that could be repaired without incurring cost?

Thanks,

J.

That is something that should be warrantable. Depending on the warranty terms in your area they will repair or replace. You will need to open a case at support.hp.com
