M476DW - Error 79

Our printer updated to FW Version 0210408 over the weekend. Since the update, we received Error 79.

I have sought advice from other forums/articles however none have worked.

I have factory defaulted, Turned On/Off, removed from the internet and performed the turn on/off procedure etc to no avail.

The printer works when removed from the network.

I would like to roll the FW version back to the previous version as i don't see any other solution, and believe this would be the quickest solution due to this being an office printer.

Could someone provide the previous FW or an alternate solution

Description
The product has experienced an internal firmware error. Under most conditions, the product automatically restarts

.Recommended action1.
Reset the printer:

a.Turn off the power by using the power switch, and then wait at least 30 seconds
.b.Turn on the power and wait for the product to initialize.
2.If you are using a surge protector

a. Power off the printer.
b. Remove the surge protector.
c. Plug the product directly into the wall socket and turn the product power on.
3. If the error is intermittent, attempt to isolate the issue to something specific in the customers
environment.
NOTE: If the 79 Error is caused by the network or a specific file, do not replace the formatter; it will
not resolve the issue. Instead, attempt to isolate the issue in a way that demonstrates the error is
caused by something in the environment.
4. If the error is persistent, replace the Formatter PCA:
● Formatter PCA M476 dw (HP Part #: CF387-60004).

Thanks for the reply.

I can confirm that this did not work. I managed to download the latest FW and install it, which worked, however the issues still remains.

On a small local offline network, there is no issues, however when connected to the Wifi or online network, the Error 79 persists.

I'm not paying for a new card when HP's FW created the issue. Firstly, the card is not cheap, and second, HP should be fixing this with a rolled back FW or a new FW fix. Our business is suffering due to this and it seems HP doesn't care
