I’m trying to connect a new printer for my neighbor and it fails - the Wireless Network Test Results report tells me that the problem is that her router has MAC Address Filtering enabled, but the admin pages for her router says that she does not. I’ve seen that this error is reported for a lot of different problems and I’m hoping someone can tell me how to resolve this. I have an HP printer connected to my wifi without any trouble, and the only difference between us is that she is using the ISP’s Hitron CGNM router while I’m using Google Wifi.

@bobpulgino, Welcome to HP Support Community!
The Mac address filtering error is one that is given for a multitude of errors.
On the front of the printer, touch the Wireless button and navigate to Restore Wireless Defaults. Restart your router by pulling its power plug momentarily, then try again
Additionally, try updating the printer firmware-
Download available firmware updates from the HP website
With the printer on and connected to the computer, go to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads, and then identify your printer. Look for and install any available firmware updates. Refer to the document HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware.
