Hi,
I've got a problem with my printer, it always tries to grab a paper from Tray 1 ( Priority Tray) and stops throwing an error that the Tray 1 is empty. I have to approach the printer and hit the OK button manually to make the printer grab paper from Tray 2 (Main Tray). The problem with the printer is that There is no option to define the default tray or something like that. NO single option which links to Tray 2. The best I can do is to look up the printer preferences through Windows but still Tray 2 is missing from "Paper Source" dropdown!
What do i do to force the printer use the Tray 2? I have already installed the latest available official firmware for the printer but the problem still persists!

Tray 2 be default should be the first tray to print, as long as Tray 2 is loaded with paper that matches the paper requested by the print job. Tray 2 should be configured on the printer as plain letter paper, or whatever default paper size is shown on the printer driver. I have seen cases where driver defaults on the computer when installed are either A4 size or HP Eco paper. Any paper size or paper type that is not the same as the settings on the printer will result in the behaviour you are having.
