macOS 10.15 Catalina

Just installed a new printer in the office, prints documents just fine over wifi.

However, when printing a word doc that was emailed to me as a pdf - it prints the entire page solid black. The doc shows up correctly in the print preview - but it prints out as a solid black page.

Oddly enough, other pdfs print fine. I have gotten mailing labels sent to me from ebay that open up in the PDF preview and print out with no issues.

But for some reason this other kind of PDF does not.

@pmturcotte, Welcome to HP Support Community!

I see that you have issues with printing a particular PDF document that comes out as a solid black page. Since other documents and PDFs are printing fine it does not seem like a printer or driver issue, let us try to isolate and resolve the issue.

Try printing the PDF as an image- https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/quick-fix-print-pdf-image.html(This is a third-party link. Please do not click on any ad, image, download, popup or link or anywhere else as this is a third-party link meant only for viewing information).

Ensure that the printer is up to date with its firmware and Mac is up to date with its software. If you are unsure you may use the links below to update the printer firmware and Mac software:

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
