I am receiving the printhead missing or failed error message. I have followed all steps shown at https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04100778, short of replacing the printhead.
I have seen some past discussions on this topic in which HP Support personnel gave information over private message about how to conduct an 'advanced reset' of the printer. This seemed to assist some users, so I would like to try an advanced reset before ordering a new printhead.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi @AGJ77,
I'd like to help!
I understand you are facing printhead errors and also have tried the steps to resolve the error
I do not think the printer reset will resolve the issue, but I have shared the steps in a private message.
- The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
- In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Support Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/notes/privatenotespage
