Product: HP officejet Pro 8600 Plus all in one N911g
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I followed the directions to clear the error message "the printhead appears to be missing, not detected or incorrectly installed. I've been printing ok and now can't print anything. Where would I be able to purchase a new printhead for HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus all in one n911 and what would be the cost?

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

 

It's likely that the printhead is defective.

 

There may be printheads available online but these does not guarantee a solution as we do not know the quality of the printheads.  Moreover, the cost of getting these may not be economical as compared with a new printer which has the latest features and technology.

 

The equivalent replacement for the HP 8600 Plus printer would be the HP Officejet Pro 9010/9020 series.
