Hi Forum

When I print in black text some of the printing is missing. Like in stripes or entire lines.

The printer has not been used for at period of time (3 months).

Could it be due to a clogged print head and if so, how do I handle that issue.

Or do you no of any other reasons for this issue?

Print quality diagnostics page looks fine related to colors, but some parts of black text lines and the entire line of bullit no. 6 is missing.

I have already gone through the "clen cartridges" routine a few times.

Looking forward to your help.

Bet regards

MisHap

You can try soaking the black cartridge printhead in hot water for a few minutes. (use 1/4 inch of water)

Dry the black cartridge & try printing.

Repeat if required.

If you still are having problems printing then a new black cartridge should solve your problem.
