Mobile printer was working great until one morning the error code 0X011A17FF DOT_11 PRIVATE showed up and hasn't worked since.  I saw a few others on the site with this same issue.  Followed the recommended unplug from the printer and wall, remove the ink cartridges, etc...  Now I get NOTICE: The printer was not turned off properly etc. for a few seconds before the 0X0 error code.  Yay.

I have tried to upgrade the firmware and drivers, but this error code is the only thing on the screen (after the improper shutoff notice).  It will not go into the menu, WiFi doesn't work and it cannot be found by any networks.  I've plugged it directly into the computer and this printer just doesn't exist.

I have restarted it holding down various buttons, restarting with and without the battery pack sometimes plugged into the wall, sometimes not.

Any suggestions?

Hi to anyone with this same issue.

I called HP, which was the suggestion from the support agent reply to my post.  

The solution is to buy a new printer...it is the FINAL solution.  The error code is a hardware problem with the printer network not allowing me to connect to either wired or wireless internet, rendering it useless.

I was told the only and FINAL solution is to buy a new printer.

So...there you go, less than two years.  The solution is to buy a new one...not A solution, but the FINAL solution.
