Hi @Tasleemah, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 4535 All-in-One Printer is displaying a "Load paper" message even though paper is already loaded, try these troubleshooting steps:

Check the Paper Tray

  • Make sure the paper is properly loaded in the input tray.
  • Align the paper stack neatly and ensure it's pushed all the way in.
  • Avoid overloading the tray—keep the stack within the paper limit guides.

Inspect the Paper Sensors

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it.
  • Check inside the paper tray for any small debris, paper dust, or obstructions.
  • Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently clean the paper sensor area.

Adjust Paper Settings

  • On your computer, go to Printer Properties and verify that the selected paper size matches the paper loaded in the tray.
  • If using HP Smart, check if there’s an option to adjust paper settings.

Reset the Printer

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it for 1-2 minutes.
  • Plug it back in and power it on.

Perform a Hard Reset

  • Remove the power cable while the printer is ON.
  • Wait 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.

Check for Firmware Updates

  • Visit HP Support and download any available firmware updates.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
