Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP office jet 9010 will not print documents that are in que.  Ran scan doctor with no results.  Powered down by removing power cord and restarted it several times without success.  Valid hp cartridges.

Welcome to the HP User Community.

Might be something going in with the Windows Print Queue.

Normally, yes, the Doctor can deal with this issue.

You can also try a manual approach...

Manual Queue Reset

Details…

Windows 10 / Windows 11

Windows Start > Search for “Services

Optionally Right-Click and Pin to Start / Taskbar > Open Services App

Windows 10

Control Panel > icon view > Administrative Tools > Services

Next,

Scroll down, find, Right-Click, and Stop Print Spooler Service

Open File Explorer (formally Windows Explorer)

Navigate to the folder and Delete any files found in folder C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS

Start Print Spooler Service

What else?

The obvious, I guess:

Make sure Windows Updates is not pending a Restart - Normally this won't bite but depending on the type and extent of the Update that is partly installed, things can get weird.

Related:  Check / Run Windows Updates - might be at least beneficial in case any Updates are needed.

Restart everything including the computer, the printer, and the router that controls the network.

After the queue rebuild and whatever else you want to try,

Send just one simple test job to the printer - a simple text file, for example.

On the more extreme end:

Uninstall the Full Feature Software from Control Panel > icon view > Programs and Features

Restart the computer and log in

Install a fresh copy of the Full Feature / Full Driver printer software.
