@Patricox, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Try making a standalone copy and check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.
Do you get a blank sheet when you print?
For now, let us try these steps to resolve this issue:
Check estimated ink levels
Turn on the printer.
Click the Apple
menu, and then click System Preferences.
Depending on your operating system, click Print & Scan or Printers & Scanners.
In the Print & Scan or Printers & Scanners window, click the name of your printer, and then click Options & Supplies.
Click Supply Levels.
Clean the ink cartridges
Click the Apple
menu, and then click System Preferences.
Depending on your version of OS X, click Print & Scan or Printers & Scanners.
In the Print & Scan or Printers & Scanners window, select your printer, and then click Options & Supplies.
Click Utility, and then click Open Printer Utility.
HP Utility opens.
Click Clean Printheads
, and then click Clean. A Print Quality Diagnostic page prints.
Let me know how this goes.

I checked my ink levels and they are good.
so I went to your Clean the ink cartridges option. This is what you say:
"In the Print & Scan or Printers & Scanners window, select your printer, and then click Options & Supplies.
Click Utility, and then click Open Printer Utility."
There is no Utility option in Options & Supplies on my Mac (Version 10.14.6). I have checked this again and again,
What do I do?
Thanks.
