My printer will feed the paper through, sound like it's printing but then spits out a blank sheet of paper. I have installed and uninstalled and installed again, there is ink in the cartridge and can't get it to print.

Let us try printing a print quality diagnostic report and check if it works to conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.

Load plain paper into the tray.
-
Press and hold the Power button (
).
-
Raise and lower the front cover three times.
-
Release the Power button (
).
The print quality diagnostic report prints.

Check ink levels, and replace low or empty cartridges
-
You may watch this video for a better understanding. If the print quality is not acceptable, proceed to the next step.
Clean the area around the ink nozzles and reinsert the ink cartridges

I followed the advice of the steps to pull the diagnostic report. However, when the issue is that it prints blank pages, it's hard to read the invisable results on the paper. I am connnecting mine to a Dell Windows Computer. Agrr

Clean the area around the ink nozzles
-
Press the Power button (
) to turn on the product.
-
Open the cartridge door.
The carriage moves to the center of the product. Wait until the carriage is idle and silent before continuing.

Press down on the cartridge that has the issue to release it, and then pull it out of its slot.
CAUTION:
Do not remove both cartridges at the same time. Do not leave a cartridge outside the product for more than 30 minutes.

Place the cartridge on a piece of paper with the ink nozzles facing up.

Lightly moisten a clean, foam rubber swab with distilled water.

Clean the face and edges around the ink nozzle with the swab.
CAUTION:
Do not clean the ink nozzle plate.

Either let the cartridge sit for 10 minutes to allow the cleaned area to dry, or use a new swab to dry it.

Hold the cartridge by its sides with the nozzles toward the product, and then slide the cartridge into its color coded slot until it snaps into place. Make sure that the icon on the cartridge matches the icon on the slot.

Close the cartridge door.

Try printing again.
