My HP Officejet 4650 is printing everything at a reduced scale even tho I didn't tell it to. I don't know where that setting is.

Welcome to HP forums, I see that your printer is printing in a different size.

  • Did you make a copy and check if that prints fine?
  • When did this issue start?
  • Did you change the settings on the printer driver?

Meanwhile:

perform a power reset

  1. Turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
  2. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
  3. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  4. Wait at least 30 seconds.
  5. Plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector and printer.
  6. Turn on the printer.

Reply with the requested information for further assistance.

Cheers.

Hi,

I followed the steps you recommended but it didn't fix the issue.  I can print the same document from my smartphone (it's an email attachment in Word) and it prints full size.  Do I need to reinstall the printer drivers on the pc?

Thanks.
