My HP DESKJET INK ADVANTAGE 2774 printer won't print or connect to the HP Smart app.

I've already touched the cartridges and nothing, I try to print and it doesn't even show any signal.

If your HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 2774 printer is not printing or connecting to the HP Smart app, you can follow these steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

1. Check Printer and Device Connections

  • Ensure the printer is on: Make sure the printer is powered on and ready.
  • Connection check: Ensure that the printer and your computer or mobile device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

2. Restart Devices

  • Restart your printer: Power off your printer, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on.
  • Restart your router: Disconnect the power cord from the router, wait for 15 seconds, and reconnect the power cord. Allow the router to restart fully.
  • Restart your computer or mobile device to reset network connections.

3. Check Printer Status

  • Check printer display panel: If your printer has a touchscreen panel, verify that there are no error messages or alerts indicating issues such as paper jams or low ink levels.

4. Update Printer Firmware

  • Firmware updates: Ensure that your printer firmware is updated. This can be done through the HP Smart app or by downloading software from HP’s official website.

5. Reset Network Settings on the Printer

  • Wi-Fi settings reset: Most printers have a wireless button along with a wireless icon or light on the control panel. Hold the wireless button until you see or hear it, usually around 3 seconds, to reset the wireless settings. This prepares the printer to be rediscovered and connected.
