Hi @HenryTeach,
Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips, Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂
I understand your HP DeskJet 3050 printer is stuck on MFG Mode. I'll be really glad to help you with this,
Kudos to you for trying to figure out what needs to be done before posting your question in the HP forums?
Please make sure that the printer is connected directly to the wall outlet and not to the surge protector.
Remove all the ink cartridges and then perform a Hard reset on the printer.
With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Remove USB cable, if present.
Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord and then plug back the power cord to the printer.
Turn on the printer and wait till warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle.
Now insert the ink cartridges and then try to print a test page and check if it works.
If the issue persists, I would suggest next step would be to perform an advanced reset on the printer. I am sending you a private message with the steps to reset the printer. Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.
Let me know how that goes. Good Luck!

I don't know what MFG Mode is, but now of the buttons on my printer will work. Except the POWER BUTTON..It still works
Also my wireless light is flashing and i have no need of it, although I do have a cell phone that might be causing this. I took this printer into my computer repair guy, but he knows nothing of this type of equipment. What can i do Please?
