Hi there, I've just installed a new black ink cartridge and as usual the printer suggests printing an alignment page.

I press OK on the printer touch screen and then all that happens is the blue circle of death appears and stays there and it doesn't print the alignment page.

 

I uninstalled and re-installed all the software for the printer, and ran diagnostics and it still remains the same.

It asks me to load white paper, I press ok, then it says print alignment page and if I press OK, blue wheel of death appears and would stay circling for hours if left.

However, if I don't press OK to print the alignment page, I can print via Windows somehow, which is great but I want to know if there is a factory rest I can do or similar.

I don't want to have to pay £21 for Technical support only to be told to buy a new printer.

 

So any help would be greatly appreciated
