HP ENVY 114 e-All-in-One Printer - D411c
macOS 12.0 Monterey

My HP Envy 114 shows error message 'Problem Moving Display' and the screen will not accept commands.

It tells me 'To enable the display to move freely, remove anything that may been the way'. There is nothing obstructing the movement of the display.

How should I proceed?

@NewhamBoy

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Did you make any changes to your printer?
  • Have you tried any troubleshooting steps?

While you respond to that, let's try these steps:

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Wait at least 15 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
  • Turn the printer on.

And, aslo update the printer firmware:

  • Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your PC.
  • Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
