Hi @Frank1147,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like there could be a few reasons why your HP Envy 5546 printer is showing a "not connected to server" error. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot:

Check Network Connection: Ensure that your printer is properly connected to your Wi-Fi network. You can do this by printing a network configuration page from the printer's control panel. Make sure that the Wi-Fi indicator on the printer is lit up, indicating an active connection.

Restart Printer and Router: Sometimes, simply restarting your printer and Wi-Fi router can resolve connectivity issues. Turn off both devices, wait for a few seconds, and then turn them back on.

Update Printer Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. You can usually find this option in the printer's settings menu. Updating the firmware can sometimes fix bugs and improve connectivity.

Check Printer Settings: Ensure that the printer is set up to connect to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer. You may need to re-enter your Wi-Fi network password on the printer if the network settings have changed.

Restart Computer: Sometimes, the issue may be with your computer rather than the printer. Try restarting your computer and then attempting to print again.

Reinstall Printer Drivers: If none of the above steps work, try uninstalling and reinstalling the printer drivers on your computer. You can download the latest drivers from the HP website.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
