@Lewie8, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your HP OfficeJet Pro not printing!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand that your HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 has stopped printing. Let’s get this sorted out.

To assist you better, could you please provide some details?

  1. Are you seeing any error messages on the printer’s screen or your computer?
  2. Is the printer connected via Wi-Fi, USB, or Ethernet?
  3. Have you recently made any changes, such as replacing ink cartridges, updating drivers, or changing network settings?
  4. Does the printer respond at all, or is it completely unresponsive when you try to print?
  5. Have you tried printing a test page from the printer’s control panel?

Meanwhile, let’s try some basic troubleshooting steps:

  • Restart the Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for 60 seconds, and plug it back in. Then, turn it on and check if it prints.
  • Check Ink Levels: Ensure the ink cartridges have enough ink and are properly installed.
  • Clear Print Queue: If using a computer, go to the printer settings, check if any pending print jobs are stuck, and clear the queue.
  • Run the HP Print and Scan Doctor (for Windows users): You can download and run this tool from HP’s website to detect and fix common printing issues.
  • Check the Connection: If using Wi-Fi, make sure the printer is connected to the correct network and has a stable connection.

Let me know what you find, and I’ll guide you further! 😊

Take care, and have an amazing day!
