Hi @MamaT575,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It seems like you're encountering an issue with your HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 printer. The error code B8C33FB8 is not a standard HP error code, and it's possible that it might be a specific issue that requires troubleshooting.

Here are some general steps you can take to try and resolve the issue.

Restart the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on. This simple step can often resolve minor glitches.

Check for Paper Jams:

  • Ensure that there are no paper jams in the printer. Open all doors and trays, and inspect for any stuck paper.

Update Firmware/Drivers:

  • Make sure that your printer has the latest firmware installed. You can check the HP website for any available updates. Also, ensure that your printer drivers on your computer are up-to-date.

Reset the Printer:

  • Perform a reset on your printer. This can often be done by turning off the printer, unplugging it from the power source, waiting for a minute, and then plugging it back in.

Check for Connectivity Issues:

  • Ensure that the printer is properly connected to your computer or network. If it's a wireless printer, check the Wi-Fi connection.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
