I cannot copy. I have lost my "Copy Document" icon from my HP Officejet Pro 8710 and only have Copy ID Card, Scan to USB and Send Fax Now.

I found the problem all I had to do was unhook the power cord and reinstall it and bing go! the Copy Document capability came back.  I stumbled on this solution randomly searching for a solution and remembered I use this technique to solve other similar problems with earlier printers and equipment I had used in the past 15 years.

Is your Officejet Pro 8710 connected by a network connection?  I do not have an 8710 to check, but on the Officejet Pro 276dw and Officejet Pro 8600 here there are options in the Embedded Web Server to turn on or off various options on the front panel.  Find the printer's IP address, then enter this IP address in your browser.  From the EWS click Settings, Administrator Settings and enable the appropriate settings, Apply.  Next turn the printer off then back on to apply the new settings.
