Product: HP Officejet Pro X551dw Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I have an OfficeJet Pro X551 and it has been great for 5 years. Now it has failed with error B80989AC. This appears on a blue screen before the printer just flashes all lights and says turn off and on again. I do this and it appears to boot up with the normal screen but after 10 secs revers back to this BIOS type setup screen with the error.

 

I have unplugged etc. and removed all cartridges and so on but I just keep getting this very basic level message. It is in a loop and I cannot break it. I searched google but to no avail. Nobody else seems to have had this message. 

 

Any help much appreciated.
