I have been having a problem printing, it seems with evey windows 10 update. I have tried the HP Print Doctor, cleaning, replacing low cartridges and alligning. When printing a test page it appears incomplete, printing only the color blocks and only some of the lines. I can not print any of my text files. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software. Am dismayed as what to do at this point. Help please.

Greetings!
Welcome to the HP Support Community. This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries. I have reviewed your post and I understand, the printer is not printing.
Appreciate you trying the steps. Don’t worry, I’m here to help! To better assist you - What's the exact model name of the printer? Refer to this link for steps to find the product details. (Ensure not to share the serial number, email, phone number, etc.)
While you respond to that, let's try these steps -
Step 1 HP Print and Scan Doctor -
Click on this link to download and run HP Print and Scan Doctor.
Step 2 Re-install the printer drivers -
1) In the search box, type and open "Uninstall a Program".
2) Look for HP Printer software.
3) Right-click to uninstall.
4) In the search box, type and open “Devices and printers”.
5) In the Devices and Printers, look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose “Delete” or “Remove Device”.
6) Open the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.
7) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”).
8) Click on the "Drivers" tab.
9) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click “Remove” at the bottom.
10) Select Ok.
11) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows.
12) Close Devices and Printers Once the software and drivers are removed.
13) Restart the computer.
14) Download and install the software and drivers from here.
Hope this helps!
Let me know how that goes.

My printer is a HP OfficeJet Pro 6960 All-in-One Series
I can not find my disc that came with the printer (can I get one somehow?)
I do not want to use the browser to print, want to be able to print from my computer. I can not print from my documents.
I have downloaded the "Print and Scan Doctor" and uninstalled and reinstalled, turned off and turned on printer and computer
All to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It looks like you were interacting with @asmita6658, but he is out for the day & I'll be glad to help you out,

After reviewing your post thoroughly, I suspect this to be an issue with the printer. Don't worry as I have a few suggestions which should help you resolve this issue.
I would suggest here is to clean the ink cartridge contacts as well as clean the printhead.
Next thing, I would suggest here is to follow the steps suggested in the support document for - HP OfficeJet 6900 Printers - Black or Color Ink Not Printing, Other Print Quality Issues
Let me know if those steps worked for you.
If they did, that’s awesome!
Give us some reinforcement by clicking the solution and kudos buttons,
That’ll help us and others see that we’ve got the answers!
Good Luck.
