Hi @Feeder43,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP ENVY 6052e printer is displaying a "not connected to the internet" message and has stopped printing, there are several steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

Check Printer Connection:

  • Make sure that the printer is properly connected to your computer or the network. Verify the USB or Ethernet cable connections if it's a wired connection.
  • If using a wireless connection, ensure that the Wi-Fi is connected and that the printer is on the same network as your computer.

Restart Printer and Computer:

  • Turn off the printer and your computer. Wait for a few seconds, then turn them back on. This can sometimes resolve connectivity issues.

Check Wi-Fi Connection:

  • Ensure that your Wi-Fi network is working properly. If other devices can connect to the internet, the issue might be with the printer itself.

Printer Troubleshooter:

  • Run the built-in printer troubleshooter on your computer. This tool can automatically identify and fix common printing problems.
    • For Windows: Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters > Printer.
    • For Mac: Open System Preferences > Printers & Scanners > select the printer > click "Open Print Queue" > click "Resume" or "Reset Printing System" if needed.

Update Printer Drivers:

  • Make sure that you have the latest drivers installed for your printer. Visit the HP support website and download the latest drivers for your specific printer model.

Check for Firmware Updates:

  • Ensure that your printer has the latest firmware installed. You can usually check for and update firmware through the printer's control panel or the manufacturer's website.

Reinstall Printer:

  • Remove the printer from your computer and reinstall it. Go to the "Devices and Printers" (Windows) or "Printers & Scanners" (Mac) settings and delete the printer. Then, add it again using the printer setup wizard.

Firewall and Security Software:

  • Sometimes, security software or firewalls may block the communication between the computer and the printer. Temporarily disable your security software to see if it resolves the issue.

Reset Network Settings on Printer:

  • If the printer has a built-in network interface, you may want to reset its network settings and set it up again.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
