My HP OfficeJet 4650 printer isn't printing anything on the paper, it brings paper through like it will print and then it's blank. My printer is plugged into wall socket, and I also made a copy to make sure it wasn't internet service issue.  Help!

Thanks for taking an interest in the HP Support Forums After reading your post I see that you require assistance with printing issues. It will be a delight to assist you here.

Superb analysis and brilliant diagnosis of the issue before posting. 🙂 Kudos to you on that score. 🙂

For better clarity and to assist you better I would require more information regarding this:

  • Did you make copies directly from the printer and check if it copies correctly?
  • Did you replace ink cartridges and check if the issue is resolved?
  • What is the operating system involved with the printer?

For now please try these steps:

  • Make 2 copies directly from the printer to check if it copies correctly.
  • If it copies correctly, then uninstall and reinstall the printer software and it should fix the issue.
  •  
  • If fails to copy, then follow all the prescribed steps from this link: http://hp.care/2y87CpJ  to fix print quality issues.
  • It should fix the issue if there are no hardware issues.

Otherwise, if there are any missing colors in the print quality report, contact HP phone support to get either the cartridges or the printer replaced as one of them may be faulty.

  • Once the support page opens please select the country in which you're located. Next, enter your HP model number on the right.
  • Next, choose the 'Contact Support' tab at the top and scroll down to the bottom of the 'HP Support- Contact' page to fill out the form provided with your contact information.
  • Once completed click the 'Show Options' icon on the bottom right.
  • Lastly, scroll down to the bottom of the page and select 'Get phone number.' A case number and phone number will now populate for you.

They will be happy to assist you immediately.

If the unit is under warranty, the manufacturer’s warranty should take care of it for you.

 

Please perform all these steps patiently as it is critical to resolving the issue. The trick is to remain patient, Going by your technical expertise and competence I am sure you will be able to perform these steps without breaking a sweat. 🙂
