Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am trying to print from my windows 10 laptop. The ink had run out, so I changed it like i normally do. I have not been able to print since. When I attempt to print it shows up with a green dot saying ready to print. Once I send it, a moment later I get a pop-up message saying, "printer error". I have tried to fix it myself. I unplugged it from the power source, I have reset the modem, I have run a diagnostic and a status report both of which are showing normal ready to print, I attempted to download the HP print and scan doctor, but it just kept coming up with a "download failed" message.  In short, I have tried every way I know how to resolve the issue, but I have been unsuccessful.  The printer is hooked up wirelessly and I have printed fine until I changed the cartridges. I bought and installed the same ink many times prior without any problems. Thank you in advance to anyone who helps me resolve this issue.
