I have tried to print from my HP Officejet Pro 7740 format A3 in color but don't work properly, the pages printed coming out in gray scale but with very poor quality.

I put new cartridges thinking that the existing one were damaged but the problem is the same.

1. Check Printer Settings

Ensure the printer settings are configured correctly:

Printer Properties:

  1. Go to "Control Panel" > "Devices and Printers".
  2. Right-click on your HP Officejet Pro 7740 and select "Printing preferences".
  3. Ensure that "Color" is selected instead of "Grayscale".

Print Settings in Application:

  1. When printing from an application (like Word, Excel, etc.), click on "Print".
  2. Select the HP Officejet Pro 7740 printer.
  3. Click on "Printer Properties" or "Preferences".
  4. Check the color settings to make sure "Color" is selected.
