HP deskjet 3730

My Hp deskjet 3730 will not print it is showing the orange light saying the ink as run out of which I no is new, now the problem is when I pull down cover to look at ink cartridge it will not stop in middle it just goes back and forth to the left side 

please help

I see that you are unable to print due to the cartridge error and the cartridge does not stop in the middle when you open the cartridge door.

To fix this issue, try the steps below:

Open the ink cartridge access door.

Wait until the carriage is idle and silent before you continue.

With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord and any other cables from the rear of the printer.

Note: You must unplug the power cord to move the carriage by hand.

 

If you mange to remove the cartridges, clean the electrical contacts on the cartridges and try printing again. For instruction: Click here
