Hi @shubham135,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The issue you're encountering with your HP LaserJet MFP M226dw printer, where it prints additional pages with HTTP request lines, is typically related to the printer receiving improper print commands or incorrect data formats. Here are some steps to troubleshoot and resolve this issue.

Update Printer Drivers:

  • Ensure you have the latest drivers installed for your printer. Visit the HP support website and download the latest drivers for your specific model.

Check Printer Configuration:

  • Access the printer's web interface (usually accessible via its IP address in a web browser) and check the settings. Look for any configurations related to print protocols or network settings.

Reset Printing System (Windows):

  • Open the Control Panel.
  • Go to "Devices and Printers."
  • Right-click on your printer and select "Remove device."
  • Reinstall the printer using the latest drivers from the HP website.

Reset Printing System (Mac):

  • Go to "System Preferences."
  • Open "Printers & Scanners."
  • Right-click (or Control-click) in the list of printers on the left and select "Reset printing system."
  • Add the printer again using the latest drivers.

Check Print Queue and Cancel Jobs:

  • Sometimes, jobs stuck in the print queue can cause issues. Clear the print queue to ensure no corrupted jobs are causing the problem.
  • On Windows, open the print queue from "Devices and Printers" and cancel all jobs.
  • On Mac, open "Printers & Scanners," select your printer, and click on "Open Print Queue," then cancel all jobs.

Firmware Update:

  • Check if there is a firmware update available for your printer. Updating the firmware can resolve many issues. You can usually find firmware updates on the HP support website.

Disable IPP Printing:

  • Internet Printing Protocol (IPP) might be causing the issue. If you do not need IPP printing, disable it in the printer’s settings via the web interface.

Check for Software Conflicts:

  • Ensure that no third-party print management software or utilities are interfering with the print jobs. Temporarily disable or uninstall such software to see if the issue resolves.

Print Directly to Printer:

  • Set the printer to print directly instead of spooling. This can be done in the printer properties:
    • Go to "Devices and Printers."
    • Right-click on your printer and select "Printer properties."
    • Under the "Advanced" tab, select "Print directly to the printer."

Reinstall Printer on Network:

  • Sometimes, reconfiguring the printer's network settings can help. Remove the printer from the network and add it again, ensuring all settings are correctly configured.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
