Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just bought a HP Smart Tank 7001 printer. Everything is good exept looks like it stays on all the time. The Power button goes dim and the WiFi light is bright and both stay on all the time.  is this normal?  I dont know if it is aleep or not. I want it to go to sleep when not in use and wake up as soon as I send a print job.  coule someone tell me if this is normal. Other printers I have had go to sleep  and wake up when I send a print job. This one ill print good but I am not sure it is going to sleep.

Hi,

How is the Control panel display (Figure 5) during this time? is it off or on?

You would see The Power button light dimmed and the printer control panel display off while in Sleep mode.
